Unity Garbage

Working and middle-class Americans got hit with a double-barreled blast last night. Kamala Harris fired the first shot during her “closing argument” speech when she insisted that Donald Trump and his supporters want to create a dictatorship to persecute their political opponents.

The second blast is something progressives seem to do every four years. Barack Obama called conservatives “bitter Bible clingers.” Hillary called them “deplorables.” Now, Joe Biden said Trump voters are “garbage.”

At least with “bitter” and “deplorable” you’re still human. And Hillary was only referring to “half of Trump’s supporters” in her “basket of deplorables.”

But “garbage” is less than human. What do you do with garbage? You dispose of it. You put it in the garbage disposal or the trash can.

Of course, this mindset is what progressive policies have consistently demonstrated. Innocent preborn children are “garbage” to be disposed of at whim. Some even say the Constitution is “trash” or garbage.

Some well-meaning people hope for the best when leftist politicians talk about uniting the country. They still cling to the idea that all the talk about “Nazis” and “garbage” is just rhetoric, and the radicals don’t really mean it. Yes, they do.

The left’s rhetoric about unity is garbage. Their idea of unity means conservatives and Christians surrender.

They’re putting elderly women in prison for exercising their constitutional rights. These women are treated worse than illegal alien drug smugglers coming across our border.

They are prosecuting and bankrupting grandmothers for praying.

They put parents on a potential terrorist watch list. They spied on churches.

They interfered in our elections and censored the truth.

That’s what dictators do.

Remember the Covington Catholic students on a trip to Washington, D.C.? Leading progressives and their media allies made them out to be little Nazis. For what? They were just standing at a monument and refused to step aside when a leftist agitator tried to push them around.

The left set out to dehumanize those students and ruin their lives because they’re “garbage.”

Anyone who takes their faith seriously is a threat. When pro-life students came to Washington, D.C., they were kicked out of a museum. Those students were told exactly the same thing that Christian students kicked out of a recent Wisconsin rally were told: “You’re not welcome here.”

Remember Kyle Rittenhouse? Leftist pundits and politicians, including “Nice Guy” Joe Biden, viciously smeared him for defending his own life.

So, Harris is accusing Trump of being dictator, and Joe Biden is calling Middle Americans “garbage,” and both claim to want unity. But the really “important news” that we all need to know about is a joke by a relatively unknown comedian during an hours-long event.
