The Left’s War On Faith

The Biden Administration is training an army of left-wing social workers to wage war on Faith, Family and Freedom. That may sound extreme, but bear with me.

There is a federal home visitation program run by an agency of the Department of Health and Human Services. This program produces training guidelines and provides hundreds of millions of dollars in funding for home visits by state and local social workers.

The guidelines produced by this agency were clearly written by left-wing ideologues and obviously meant to push the radical transgender agenda into as many American homes as possible.

Social workers are being instructed to look out for parents who don’t allow their children to explore “gender expression.” Mere parental resistance to this insanity, or an insistence on normal gender roles, could be considered abuse and a reason to remove children from the home.

The guidelines state that home visitors must “recognize and address the abuse and neglect that may result, either directly or indirectly, from rejection of a child’s gender expression.”

Moreover, the “abuse” doesn’t have to be “overt” physical abuse. It could also be “denying a child the right to play, dress, and act as they would like.”

In other words, if you discourage your six year-old son from wearing his sister’s dresses and painting his fingernails pink, you’re a bad parent who is abusing your son.

As one conservative leader rightly warned, “We are rapidly headed down a road where every parent in this country who opposes the transgender agenda risks losing custody of their kids. The grave threat to families posed by this administration cannot be ignored.”

We’ve already seen how some so-called “progressive” states are banning Christian couples from serving as adoptive or foster parents. Many leftist lawmakers are all in on charging parents with “abuse” if they don’t affirm their child’s gender confusion.

Once again, the culture war is very real. But because so many politicians who have asked for our votes later refused to fight this war, it is now coming to our homes and threatening our families.

We must fight back and rein in these rogue bureaucracies, while we still can.
