The Culture War

What could Justice Alito possibly have been referring to? Whether there are dozens of genders or just two? Whether a baby is a human being or not? Whether liberty comes from God or government? The list goes on and on.

Of course, there is no middle ground on these issues! And only one side is going to win.

Where have I heard this before? Oh, I remember now.

Thirty-four years ago, Dr. James Dobson and I wrote a book called Children At Risk. The whole point of the book was that there is a civil war over values raging in the country. Our children go to the winner, and the winner gets to teach them everything that matters. And there is no middle ground.  

Only one side will win, just as only one side in every society ends up winning. And that side gets to decide for their society what values will be encouraged, promoted, and taught to their children, and what ideas will be discouraged.  

The only significance of this incident with Justice Alito is that the left is waging a war against one of the three constitutional branches of government -- the Supreme Court. The left has proven, once again, that they are the ones at war with our Constitution and our liberty.

Here’s the irony: What this reporter did in her attack on the Supreme Court is actually proof of what Alito said. The Supreme Court is protecting our constitutional liberties, and leftists like her can’t tolerate that. So, they’re trying to destroy the court because they know one side is going to win, and they are determined to win it by any means necessary.

Again, from what I have read, Alito said nothing that you wouldn’t expect him to say. But it will set off another round of demands that he recuse himself from religious liberty cases, and the left will continue to play the “Christian nationalist” card against him.

By the way, when this left-wing activist didn’t get what she wanted from Alito, she tried to put words in his mouth. She said, “People in this country who believe in God have got to keep fighting for that -- to return our country to a place of godliness.” Alito replied, “I agree with you.” And so do tens of millions of Americans!
