Targeting Conservatives

Leonard Leo is not exactly a household name. Leo is co-chairman of the Federalist Society and has been instrumental in the fight to confirm conservative judges. His effectiveness has put a bull’s eye on his back.

The far-left attorney general of the District of Columbia just launched a full-blown investigation into Leo’s work based on flimsy allegations from a so-called “watchdog” group, which is actually a left-wing “hit group.”

You’d think the DC attorney general would have more important things to do, given the district’s horrific crime wave, but no. Nothing is more important to the left than preserving its power, and Leo’s work to restore balance to our courts is a huge threat to the left’s power.

Senate liberals on the Judiciary Committee, led by Chairman Dick Durbin (D-IL), are also going after Leo, demanding he turn over all communications with sitting Supreme Court justices. 

But here’s the bottom line: Progressive administrations are known for using the IRS to harass conservative organizations from the Christian Coalition to the Tea Party. We’ve seen the left weaponize law enforcement to target one conservative leader after another. They’re even going after the wives of Supreme Court justices. 

And as Donald Trump has repeatedly warned, they’re trying to take him down so it’s easier to take you down.
