Save Women's Sports

If you're anything like me, you love sports. I'm always inspired by the incredible competitive spirit and the great accomplishments of various athletes. That's why I was so excited to hear the news out of Pennsylvania.

An athlete has emerged in women's college swimming who is blowing away all competitors. This athlete is not only beating women from all over Pennsylvania, the victorious swimmer is winning by unheard of margins and smashing records.

Usually, races in competitive swimming are won by seconds or mere fractions of seconds. This swimmer is hitting the edge of the pool 38 seconds ahead of everyone else. Wow!

I can only imagine the future product endorsements. I assume she'll be on the front page of Sports Illustrated soon.

Oh, wait a minute. It turns out that the swimmer who is winning all these matches against Pennsylvania girls is actually a biological male

In fact, Will Thomas was swimming against other men as recently as two years ago, and winning almost none of his races. Then Thomas got the really great idea to just claim he is a woman because he knew he could beat female swimmers.

Now in a healthy society, we would have said, "Nice try, buddy. Get out of here." But in today's warped progressive culture, this biological man defeating your daughter in a swim meet is considered a great breakthrough and a historic civil rights achievement.

Of course, we all know this is cheating. But if it isn't stopped soon, it won't be long before all women's sports records are held by men. This insanity will destroy women's sports unless we start standing up for our daughters and granddaughters.

It goes without saying that it's not an equal playing field for women to be forced to compete against men. That's why we established Title IX sports in the first place because there are some very real differences between men and women.

Where's the "follow the science" crowd? DNA doesn't change, no matter what else does.

Those who claim to support women's rights must stop supporting progressive policies that would shatter their daughters' dreams of personal achievement, college championships and scholarships.
