Putting Children First

President Trump’s outstanding executive orders just keep coming! Yesterday, Trump issued an order protecting children from radical indoctrination in our schools.

I hope everyone understands just how evil it is for a teacher or counselor to tell little children that they were “assigned” a gender at birth and it may be the wrong gender. If the child thinks this may have happened to them, their teacher encourages them and offers to help them “transition” without telling their parents.

In previous generations, if a father found out that a teacher was telling his son he was a girl, that teacher would be on the wrong end of a fist. We’re “civilized” now, and that’s not how we mete out justice or settle disputes.

But just because we are “civilized,” doesn’t mean we have to tolerate leftist lunacy. We cannot permit this insane child abuse and indoctrination to continue!

Trump’s order also targets critical race theory (CRT). Many don’t understand what CRT is because the media and the left claim it is essential to solving America’s bigotry. But CRT causes bigotry to grow, not shrink.

Critical race theory is a Marxist concept that divides people not by class but by race. Minority children are taught that no matter how hard they work, they will never succeed because they are oppressed. Bulletin: That means you discourage achievement by minority youth.

Every Caucasian child is told, “You may not realize it, but as a white person, you are a genetic oppressor. Throughout history, your race has oppressed others. Every day you must ask for forgiveness.” What do you think that does to the self-esteem of a young white child?

This doesn’t solve racism; it stokes racism. And it is being subsidized with your tax money.

Under Joe Biden, if you didn’t put this poison in your schools, he threatened to cut off the school’s federal funding. When we are in office, the traditional conservative approach has been to stop threatening schools and let the schools make their own decisions.

I no longer believe that is an actual conservative position. I believe the actual conservative position is what Donald Trump is trying to do now.

CRT and transgender ideology are so evil that we cannot say to 13,000 school districts, “It’s up to you. Do whatever you want because we believe in federalism.” That just doesn’t cut it anymore.

Unfortunately, some conservatives think we should take the approach that if San Francisco wants to do that, fine. No, it’s not fine!

Children in urban schools will be poisoned by this evil indoctrination. We have to draw lines.
