Pray For Justice Clarence & Ginni Thomas

As you know, Justice Clarence Thomas has been in the hospital, battling an infection since last week. So, of course, the left has chosen this moment to launch a vicious attack against his wife, Virginia "Ginni" Thomas. I'm not surprised. The left is never constrained by the considerations of normal human decency.

While I am pleased to report that Justice Thomas was just released from the hospital this morning, the "sucker punch" was thrown by Washington Post reporter Bob Woodward. His article was based on 29 text messages between Mrs. Thomas and Trump White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows sent after the 2020 presidential election.

Woodward claims that Mrs. Thomas and Meadows were plotting to "overturn" the 2020 election. "Overturn" suggests illegality. What they were in fact doing was "challenging" the accuracy and honesty of the election results. 

That is quite common in American politics. Al Gore challenged the 2000 Florida results in the Supreme Court, and Democrats challenged the results in Congress. They challenged the 2004 results, too. They also challenged the 2016 results.

In fact, Hillary Clinton still refuses to concede that she legally lost. She has regularly lied, claiming that Trump colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 election from her. 

This November, there will likely be at least a dozen House and Senate races that will be so close the losing candidates will refuse to concede. Some will demand recounts. Some will take their challenges to the courts. This is normal, not illegal.

Woodward continued his smear piece by writing that Ginni Thomas had conceded that she attended the "Stop The Steal" rally on January 6th. Thousands of people attended that legal rally.

Thank God we still have the freedom of assembly and the freedom of speech in America, even though both are under constant attack by the left.

The timing of the Woodward hit piece is not coincidental. It comes not only at a time when the Thomas family is under great stress, but also during the Supreme Court confirmation hearings for radical Judge Jackson.

Woodward and his leftist allies should be ashamed of themselves, but they have no shame. After all, these are the same people who celebrate the abortions of hundreds of thousands of babies every year.
