Pelosi vs. Biden

President Biden and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi are at odds over America’s recognition of Taiwan. It doesn’t happen very often, but I agree with Nancy Pelosi on this. 

She announced her intention to visit Taiwan last week, and Beijing went ballistic. Reportedly, both President Biden and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Mark “Thoroughly Modern” Milley told her not to go. 

It’s really telling when the left-wing speaker of the House and representative from San Francisco is more willing to stand up to communist China than Biden and his woke Pentagon. 

When I was president of the Family Research Council and took on communist China’s persecution of Christians, Pelosi was one of the few members of Congress willing to stand with me and speak out against normalizing trade relations with communist China. But as her husband made millions in the stock market over the years, Pelosi seemingly lost her voice. 

That said, I believe she is right to visit Taiwan. We cannot allow Beijing’s communist thugs to dictate our foreign policy and what nations our officials are allowed to visit.
