Next Stop: Jeddah

One of the main goals of Biden’s trip is selling a new Iranian nuclear deal to Israel and Saudi Arabia. I don’t think he succeeded in Israel, and I doubt the Saudis are interested either. 

Such a deal is the height of insanity. The world’s leading state-sponsor of terrorism cannot and should not be trusted. Any regime that chants “Death to America! Death to Israel!” cannot and should not be trusted.

But putting those fundamental points aside, just consider the basic framework of the deal: 

• The Iranians are being offered hundreds of billions of dollars in sanctions relief.

• They would still be permitted to continue enriching uranium – of course, for their “peaceful nuclear energy program.”

• And the enriched uranium they have left over would be sent to – wait for it – Russia for safe keeping. 

• Let’s think about this for a moment. 

• Russia is the country that Joe Biden insists is led by a war criminal and a murderer. 

• Putin is the reason, so we’re told, that you’re suffering economically at the gas pump. It’s a lie, but that’s Biden’s lie and he’s sticking to it.

• But we’re supposed to trust Vladimir Putin to keep the ayatollah’s nuclear material? 

And as Biden is on the way to Saudi Arabia to sell this bad deal, Iran just sold Russia highly sophisticated armed drones to help Putin win the war in Ukraine. (By the way, Putin is on his way to Tehran!)

So, while we’re sending billions of dollars to Ukraine to help them win the war, we’re getting ready to offer hundreds of billions of dollars in sanctions relief to Iran so they can sell drones to Russia to help Putin win the war.

Our enemies are benefitting, but America is not! This foreign policy makes no sense unless the goal is to lay us low.

Donald Trump had restored order to the Middle East, put Iran in check and secured Israel’s future with the Abraham Accords. It was the best environment the region had seen in decades.

But the Biden Administration is wrecking it all, just like they are wrecking America domestically.
