National Faith Summit
Yesterday, I participated in the National Faith Summit in the swing state of Georgia. The Summit was hosted by Donald Trump’s National Faith Advisor Board. There were hours of worship and speeches, and then an interview with President Trump.
During the interview, Trump talked about his own faith journey, how religion is the “glue” that holds our country together, and growing threats to religious liberty. He also pledged to create a Faith Office in the White House that will report directly to him.
I was able to engage directly with President Trump and applauded him for turning Madison Square Garden into MAGA Square Garden.
In response to concerns about whether Christians will turn out and vote, I said that gratitude is a Christian virtue and Trump did everything he promised to do. He protected religious liberty, he moved the U.S. embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, and he ended Roe v. Wade.
With a second term in mind, I asked President Trump about the left’s attempts to smash young women, our daughters, granddaughters, sisters, and nieces.
Kamala Harris and Joe Biden are using the power of the Justice Department and the Education Department to force girls and young women to compete against boys and men. Even worse, they have to face the additional humiliation of sharing locker rooms with those boys and men.
Trump was unequivocal. He said it was “amazing” we were even having this discussion, adding, “It’s going to end on Day One, Gary. We’re not going to put up with it.”
If Donald Trump wins the White House, this issue will be a big reason why. The Trump campaign is running ads exposing the left’s transgender insanity.
A new Rasmussen poll found that only 25% of voters support men playing in women’s sports, while 65% oppose it. There aren’t many issues on the GOP’s agenda that can command the support of two-thirds of the country.
