Iran’s Influence
The Islamic Republic of Iran is the world’s leading state-sponsor of terrorism. Its malignant influence in the Middle East is why the region is so volatile. But Iran’s influence isn’t limited to just the Middle East. Everywhere Tehran extends its tentacles, bad things are bound to happen.
We know Iran is funding and promoting the radical pro-Hamas, anti-Israel demonstrations here in America. We know Iran is plotting to assassinate former President Donald Trump and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. We also know that if Iran can’t kill Trump, the ayatollah wants to keep him out of the White House.
According to the Wall Street Journal, our intelligence community has “observed Tehran working to influence the presidential election” by undermining support for Donald Trump.
Why would Iran do that? Well, the geniuses in the intelligence community said it is “probably because Iranian leaders want to avoid an outcome they perceive would increase tensions with the United States.”
In other words, the ayatollah believes that another Trump administration would be bad news for Iran’s terrorist schemes, while a Harris administration would go easy on Iran and get tough with Israel.
For years, the left pushed the hoax that Trump and Russia were working together. The intelligence community continues to insist that Russia favors Trump in the election.
But with the clear evidence that Iran is trying to hurt Trump’s chances, the best we get is that Iran wants to “avoid increased tensions.” They can’t possibly say that Iran wants to continue the cozy relationship it has enjoyed for the past three years.
