Fighting Trans Supremacy

Last night, I participated in a briefing sponsored by our friends at Summit Ministries and the National Religious Broadcasters.  The main presenter was former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich.  The subject was assessing public opinion on the emerging transgender epidemic that is sweeping America’s youth.

You know what’s happening.  Powerful forces in the media, in academia, in the medical establishment and among the progressive left are pushing an extreme agenda that can only be described as “trans supremacy.”

They have embraced the radical idea that powerful drugs and surgery can change biological reality.  That’s a scientific lie. 

The Biden Administration and congressional liberals are pushing legislation and regulation that gives trans ideology supremacy over everything, including religious liberty.

If you have a religious objection to the bizarre idea that your biology can be “changed” or “fixed,” the left is going to smash you using the full power of government and social media censorship. 

Sadly, many vulnerable children are buying into this mass insanity.  And the permanent damage that is being done to them will make COVID look like a picnic.

Now, here’s the good news.  While a significant portion of the population is confused and conflicted, those who have an opinion are overwhelmingly opposed to the trans supremacy agenda. 

According to a recent survey by Summit Ministries, 75% of those who understand the issue say the transgender movement has gone too far in pushing sterilizing drugs and mutilating surgeries on children.

In fact, even some transgender activists now admit they have “gone too far.”

Other polls and surveys have found similar results.

A Rasmussen poll found that 75% of Americans believe there are only two genders, and 68% said that teachers should not be counseling students about gender identity without parental consent.

In spite of the left’s efforts to mock Florida’s Parental Rights in Education Act, which prohibited teachers from discussing issues of sexual orientation and gender identity with young children, polling found that the law was widely popular.  Even a majority of Democrats supported the legislation!

This should encourage parents to be bold in defending their children. 

This should encourage pastors to speak up and to speak the truth about gender, human sexuality and the difference between boys and girls. 

And it should encourage conservative politicians at every level to not merely oppose this nonsense, but to aggressively and unapologetically fight it!  There is no political risk in fighting the trans supremacy agenda.
