Cover-up Exposed

As you know, Joe Biden sent the White House staff into damage control mode after he called Trump supporters “garbage.” First, they tried to get the official White House stenographers to change “supporters” to “supporter’s,” meaning one person instead of many.

When the stenographers refused, the White House press office put out its own transcript, bypassing the Stenography Office. Director of White House Stenography Amy Sands issued a memo blasting the “breach of protocol.”

Sands wrote that her office has a historic responsibility to capture the words spoken and written at the White House and send them to the National Archives for the purposes of recording history. She wrote:

“If there is a difference in interpretation, the Press Office may choose to withhold the transcript but cannot edit it independently. Our Stenography Office transcript . . . is now different than the version edited and released to the public by Press Office staff.”

Just another example of the left’s totalitarian impulse.

Sands better hope that Trump wins, or she’s got a 50/50 chance of sharing a jail cell with Elon Musk. But I’ll say this much: She sounds like a strong, intelligent woman!
