Confronting Communist China

Donald Trump is taking office amid one of the biggest crises any incoming president in modern American history has faced. Meanwhile, Joe Biden is making things worse every day he remains in office.

He’s doing this knowing that America faces unbelievable dangers to our national security that threaten our very existence. He seems more interested in punishing the American people and tying Trump in knots than he is in making America safer. Here’s the latest and perhaps the most serious example.

Chinese hackers have been causing problems for decades. Most of their previous efforts focused on corporate espionage. Our defense establishment felt they were not a serious problem.

But in the last ten years, China’s use of cyberwarfare has gone to an entirely different level that has shocked our entire defense establishment and political leadership.

The Wall Street Journal reported that a secret meeting was held at the White House in the fall of 2023. Biden’s national security adviser, Jake Sullivan, summoned tech executives to Washington to warn them about the severity of the Chinese threat.

Of course, in a “just” world Sullivan wouldn’t even be in the White House. He was part of Hillary Clinton’s Russia collusion lie that deeply damaged the first Trump administration.

Sullivan disclosed during this secret meeting that communist China has developed the ability to shut down our major shipping ports, our power grid, and other critical infrastructure projects.

In the event of any major conflict between the United States and China, Beijing’s goal is to cripple the United States domestically, essentially with the flip of a switch. As China expert Gordan Chang put it, “They’re going to take down everything we have. We are going to be like an 1850s country.”

Somehow Chinese hackers managed to burrow into various computer systems and “hide” there. They would check periodically to make sure their intrusions had not been detected. They wanted to make sure that their “cyber IEDs” were in place and operational.

It’s remarkable that no one in the media found out about this meeting and what was said until now. What were the media focused on during the fall of 2023?

Well, that’s when New York Attorney General Letitia James put Donald Trump on trial, hoping to bankrupt him by destroying his businesses. All the media were talking about was how Trump would end democracy and how a court in New York was going to save the country. That’s what we were told to pay attention to.

In recent days, we learned that communist Chinese hackers also compromised at least nine major telecommunications companies in the U.S. Presumably, they could take down these systems as part of their plan to create chaos in the event of war.
