Confirmation Contradictions

When Joe Biden occupied the Oval Office, he nominated several left-wing radicals for key cabinet nominations. For example:

  • Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg – “Mayor” Pete’s left-wing views were well-known after his 2020 presidential primary campaign. Far less known were his qualifications to manage the nation’s transportation infrastructure. (Just ask the folks of East Palestine, Ohio.) He was confirmed 86 to 13.

  • Secretary of State Antony Blinken – A left-wing foreign policy “expert” and Democrat operative, Blinken organized the Deep State letter calling Hunter Biden’s laptop “Russian disinformation.” Blinken was confirmed 78 to 22.

  • Attorney General Merrick Garland – Barack Obama’s nominee to the Supreme Court. Enough said. Garland was confirmed 70 to 30.

  • Secretary of Education Michael Cordona – He was a well-known advocate for allowing boys pretending to be girls to use girls’ bathrooms. His transgender extremism wasn’t a secret to anybody when Biden nominated him. Cardona was confirmed 64 to 33.

  • Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas – Having served in the Obama/Biden administration, his left-wing views on immigration were no secret. Mayorkas was confirmed 56 to 43.

  • Assistant Secretary of Health and Human Services “Rachel” Levin – A man pretending to be a woman was confirmed to a top “health” position 52 to 48.

  • Secretary of Health and Human Services Xavier Becerra – This radical left-wing loon from California isn’t just “pro-choice,” he is aggressively pro-abortion. He prosecuted pro-life activists and persecuted pro-life organizations. He’s also 100% committed to forcing transgender insanity on our kids. He was confirmed 50 to 49. His department just celebrated “Pansexual and Panromantic Pride Day,” whatever the heck that is.

No Democrat senator voted against these nominees, no matter how far-left they were. There was never any question that they would be confirmed.

Democrats understand the fight for power. They want their side to win. Eager to advance their radical agenda, Democrats clearly were united behind these extremists.

Why aren’t Republican senators uniting behind Trump’s nominees? They clearly do not understand how the “game” is played.
