Christians Must Vote

I was at a gathering of the James Dobson Family Institute this weekend, hearing from great speakers like Charlie Kirk, Eric Metaxas, and Dr. Dobson himself. I was also honored to address the audience and spend time with G-d-fearing men and women from all over the country.

There was one theme that every speaker brought up. We are at real risk of losing our country because many church leaders are failing their responsibility to encourage Christian citizenship.

You would never expect Satan to say, “Just preach the Gospel.” But that’s what Satan is whispering into the ears of many pastors and priests. The father of lies is busy taking over America. He’s telling pastors, “Just preach the Gospel. Leave the government and politics to me.”

He wants Christians hiding in their churches, led by some pastors who are saying, “Don’t pay any attention to what’s going on in the culture out there. Jesus is coming soon anyway.”

If America and Israel, the two pillars of Judeo-Christian civilization, go down, the world will sink into another dark age.

No man knows the “hour” when Jesus will return. We are not directed to just sit here and wait. We are called to fight evil until He comes again. And, yes, that means voting to defend faith, family, and freedom.
