Bondi, Pam Bondi

All the left-wing politicians and pundits who were furious about Donald Trump’s nomination of Matt Gaetz certainly were celebrating when Gaetz withdrew his name. Their celebration was short-lived.

Within hours, Trump announced that former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi would be his choice to lead the Justice Department. Heads at MSNBC started exploding. Here’s how a MSNBC commentator put it:

“Pam Bondi is what I said we should fear because she is competent. We may not agree with her ideologically, but she knows how to do this job. . . Pam Bondi knows what she is doing about immigration. . . She is a dangerous and effective pick.”

She’s “competent.” She’s “effective.” And, thus, she is “dangerous” because she will get the rot out of the Justice Department.

It just proves that most of the left’s criticisms of Trump’s cabinet nominations are based on the fact that they don’t want Trump to implement the agenda he ran on. And the left really doesn’t want them to reform these federal agencies and drain the Swamp.

Bondi, Florida’s first female attorney general, has an extensive career as a prosecutor. More importantly, Donald Trump has known her for many years. Bondi was part of the defense team during Trump’s first impeachment.

Trump trusts her to shake up the Department of Justice, something he made clear. Trump wrote:

“For too long, the partisan Department of Justice has been weaponized against me and other Republicans - Not anymore. Pam will refocus the DOJ to its intended purpose of fighting Crime and Making America Safe Again.”

Anyone the left deems “dangerous and effective” is an excellent choice in my opinion!
