Biden’s Trust Deficit

Joe Biden came into office promising to restore trust and transparency in Washington. He promised to bring us all together and unite the country. We were told that “the adults are back in charge,” and that everything was going to be so much better.

It’s been the exact opposite.

Things have gotten worse for most Americans. Biden is stoking divisions every chance he gets. The world is on fire. Even peaceful Sweden is warning its citizens to prepare for war. And the Biden administration is lying to us all the time.

We were lied to about Biden’s plan to crush COVID. He didn’t have a plan. More people died under Biden than under Trump.

We were lied to about Afghanistan. Biden promised the withdrawal would be “responsible, deliberate and safe.” Thirteen American heroes died because it was anything but “responsible, deliberate and safe.”

We were lied to about Bidenomics. He made the economy worse.

Biden lied to us about his son’s business dealings. (See below.)

The disappearance of Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin is just the latest example of the lack of honesty and transparency.

First, we learned that the White House had no clue where Austin was. Then we were told that Austin was suffering complications from “minor, elective” surgery. Now we know that it was surgery to treat prostate cancer, which is not exactly “minor” or “elective.”

Kudos to Fox News reporter Peter Doocy for making Biden’s trust deficit a major topic at yesterday’s White House press briefing.

First, he asked what kind of commander-in-chief Joe Biden is when he doesn’t even know where his secretary of defense is. Then he asked, “Why should we believe anything that this administration tells us about anything ever again?”

That’s a really good question!

If they’re hiding details about the secretary of defense, whose health issues have minimal political implications, why should we trust the White House when it comes to Biden’s health, whose medical condition is full of political implications?

U.S. soldiers are being regularly attacked in the Middle East. The White House and the defense secretary are lying to the American people, and the chain of command seems totally uncertain.

If this had happened in any previous administration, there would have been a massive firestorm of outrage. There would be overwhelming demands for resignations and firings.

But the Deep State, the media and their left-wing allies are determined to prop up this president, no matter the cost.
