Biden’s Secret Documents

Late yesterday, there were breaking reports that classified documents from the Obama/Biden White House were discovered just before the November midterm elections. 

The documents were found at Joe Biden’s old office at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy in Washington, D.C. Attorney General Merrick Garland has ordered the U.S. Attorney for Chicago to investigate the matter, and the FBI is reportedly involved as well. (Sadly, that no longer reassures me.)

The Penn Biden Center is affiliated with the University of Pennsylvania, and Biden used the office as a place to park himself during the Trump years whenever he was in Washington. 

This shouldn’t be surprising news. Washington overclassifies everything, and it is not unusual for former presidents and vice presidents to have classified material. (Here and here.) Yet when it’s Donald Trump, the left and its liberal media allies never miss a chance to blow everything out of proportion. 

As House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan put it, “It’s always one set of rules for President Trump. They literally raided his home 91 days before the midterm election, and [it’s] a different standard it seems with President Biden.”

Meanwhile, there are several points to consider.

First, Rep. Mike Turner, chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, has demanded a damage assessment noting that some of the recovered materials were “marked ‘sensitive compartmented information,’ indicating the highest classification and most sensitive intelligence information in our government.”

Second, these materials were discovered on November 2nd. The White House, the Justice Department and the National Archives were all informed. But somehow it was kept secret for two months.   

Third, the documents were found in a closet in Biden’s old office, not 15 months after he left the White House, but five years after he left the White House! Is the National Archives really that negligent? Why didn’t the bureaucrats realize they were missing this classified material for five years?

Fourth, why was the classified material at the Penn Biden Center in the first place? Joe Biden has claimed that he was a “college professor,” but there’s no evidence that he ever taught students anything useful. He was paid over $1 million to make a few speeches for the university.

Then I remembered something else about the University of Pennsylvania. Over a five-year period from 2014 to 2019, it accepted more than $50 million dollars from Communist China – with most of that Chinese money coming after the university announced the formation of the Penn Biden Center. What a remarkable coincidence!

Were any Chinese communist agents working at the university? Were Chinese communist agents working at the Penn Biden Center? Has the FBI even bothered to look?
