Biden's Bluster

As you know, President Joe Biden traveled to Europe this week, hoping to rally our NATO allies amid the ongoing war in Ukraine. Not surprisingly, Biden said a lot of strange things during his European tour. 

One of the most astonishing remarks was his claim that Europe's socialist leaders have complete confidence in him. I seriously doubt that's true. The world has dramatically unraveled since Biden took office. 

• Russia invaded Ukraine.
• Iran has stepped up its terrorist activities.
• Biden seriously angered our Canadian ally.
• France recalled its ambassador from the United States for the first time in history.
• Saudi Arabia won't return Biden's phone calls.
• North Korea is launching ICBMs again.

Biden also claimed that European leaders were thrilled to have America back on the world stage. It was a way for Biden to pat himself on the back, and take a shot at former President Trump at the same time. 

But, seriously, what does he mean when he says, "America is back?" The American people don't think we are back. 

According to one recent poll, 73% of Americans think our country is headed in the wrong direction, and they're blaming Biden's policies for making things worse. Just 34% of Americans – a record low – approve of Biden's job performance.

Biden is just confused again. American inflation is back. It's back at record levels at the grocery store and the gas station not seen since the Carter years. 

Our open border is back. Biden stopped building Trump's border wall and reversed his strong immigration policies. Millions of people have illegally crossed into our country since Biden's election.

High crime rates are back, spreading fear and anger in virtually every major American city.  

The opioid epidemic is back, killing young Americans at rates far higher than COVID. 

Killing cops is back. Last year saw a record number of police officers killed in the line of duty, and this year could be even worse. 

Who knows what Biden was trying to say. But the reality is that under Joe Biden, America's back is up against the wall.
