Biden Speaks

President Biden held a rare press conference today.  He seldom engages with reporters even though most are his liberal cheerleaders.  If you think I'm being unfair or overly critical, the left-wing Washington Post even conceded, "Today's news conference is a rare event for Biden."

But he decided to take questions today as we approach the one-year anniversary of the beginning of his presidency.  Just a year into Biden's presidency and the overwhelming majority of the country thinks we're on the wrong track.  Moreover, most Americans say Biden is making things worse. 

As a result, CNN was forced to run this headline:  "10 Crises That Demand Answers At Biden's Press Conference."  Wow!  Ten crises in one year.  Way to go, Joe!

Biden made a lot of promises one year ago, but one was key to his presidency.  Biden repeatedly pledged, "I won't shut down America, I'll shut down COVID."  He failed. 

America has been shut down.  Supply chains are broken.  There is a worker shortage.  Inflation is skyrocketing.  And Biden's war on COVID has been inept and incompetent.

More people have died from COVID in one year under Biden than died from COVID under President Trump.  Biden spends most of his time not uniting America, but dividing us over vaccines.  More recently, Biden failed to ensure that there were enough COVID tests available just as a new variant hit over the holidays.

When the White House realized it had a testing crisis, it scrambled to mass produce hundreds of millions of new tests.  But they messed that up, too. 

The Biden Administration awarded a $1.3 billion contract to the American subsidiary of company based in communist China.  The tests will be made by workers in communist China, not American workers. 

Now, the Chinese communists are mocking us because we can't even make our own masks and tests here.  We have to buy them from the communist Chinese regime.

Joe Biden has not only failed to defeat COVID, he's made us more dependent on communist China, where the virus originated.

We don't trust Beijing's COVID statistics, and for good reason.  The communists lie all the time.  Beijing lied from the beginning about the origin and severity of the virus.  One model suggests the communist regime has understated China's real death toll by 17,000%.  (Why are we sending our Olympic athletes to China again?) 

Chinese executives joked about rigging thermometers. They sent faulty personal protection equipment all over the world.  (Here, here and here.)

Why would Biden assume that masks and tests made in communist China would be something we should rely on?
