Biden Cheapens Honor

President Joe Biden recently awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom to more than a dozen people. But just as he has cheapened our currency with inflation and cheapened our credibility with constant retreats around the world, he has now cheapened the honor of the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

The Presidential Medal of Freedom is the nation’s highest civilian award. It’s given to individuals who have made a significant contribution to the “prosperity, values, or security of the United States.”

So, who were some of Biden’s “winners”? One was former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. Really?!

Pelosi has devoted her life to the destruction of innocent preborn children. She is a pro-abortion fanatic. There isn’t one abortion she would prevent.

She infamously stood behind President Trump and ripped up his State of the Union address. That was her contribution to freedom and unity in America.

Father Greg Boyle was another medal recipient. Some might be happy that a religious leader was recognized. Did he advance Catholic values like the sanctity of life and the family? No.

Boyle is part of the religious left, and he’s at war with the church’s teachings on LGBTQ issues. So, of course, Biden gave him an award.

Another honoree was former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who is at war with our Second Amendment rights.

And then there are the two “great statesmen” – Al Gore and John Kerry. They were recognized for their devotion to fighting climate change. They want to impose regulations that will destroy our modern economy and prevent poor nations from ever making it into the modern world.

I remember the explosion of controversy when President Trump awarded the Medal of Freedom to Rush Limbaugh. At least Rush devoted his life to supporting veterans and law enforcement, as well as defending America and Judeo-Christian civilization for three hours a day for decades.
