Biden Betrays Israel

We all know that President Biden is losing his mental faculties and is suffering from memory lapses. So, I’m not sure what more is to be gained by continuing to focus so much attention on that. Polls show that 86% of Americans are concerned about Biden’s age and health. That debate has been settled.

The problem is that even if he was sharp as a tack, his policies are disastrous, and any leftist who replaces him will push the same radical agenda.

An example of this dynamic happened earlier this week when the king of Jordan visited the White House. During a joint statement, Biden, as usual, appeared totally confused as to where he was supposed to stand and wandered around behind the king as he began his remarks.

Most commentators focused on Biden’s behavior and missed the more important substance.

The king of Jordan spewed numerous anti-Israel talking points from the White House podium. He launched into a tirade against Israel, initially blaming the entire war on Israel.

He denounced the so-called “occupation,” called for more funding for the corrupt U.N. Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), demanded the division of Jerusalem and the creation of a Palestinian state.

Hamas leaders must have been applauding in their tunnels.

Biden should have spoken up for Israel and countered the king’s absurd comments. But he didn’t. In that moment, Biden was representing the rising progressive movement, which is increasingly anti-Israel.

That betrayal is what pro-Israel activists should have been focused on yesterday, not Biden’s wandering.
