An Important Victory

As you know, Supreme Court yesterday blocked Biden's vaccine mandate on American businesses in a 6 to 3 vote.  Whether you've taken the vaccine or haven't, whether you want everyone to get vaccinated or don't care, you should be happy about this decision. 

Biden's vaccine mandate was not passed into law by Congress.  He tried, as his chief of staff put it, to work around the law.  Biden ordered unelected bureaucrats at an obscure federal agency to require 80 million workers at large businesses to get vaccinated or lose their jobs. 

If the Supreme Court had upheld that mandate, we would have essentially lost our liberty.  If government bureaucrats can order you to put something into your bodies, they can do anything they want.  They might even order us to eat broccoli three times a week!

By the way, everyone who loves freedom owes Donald Trump a big "Thank You."

Because Donald Trump won in 2016, he – and not Hillary Clinton – had the opportunity to appoint three conservative justices to the Supreme Court.  American Values was deeply involved in their confirmation battles against vicious left-wing opposition.  And those Trump justices voted to stop big government overreach. 

If Hillary Clinton had made those appointments, it would have been a 6 to 3 decision in favor of big government mandates. 

I hope this is a preview of what will happen later this summer when that same court majority significantly restricts abortion on demand.
